Valentines Day Gift-Guide for Her.

Alright, guys. It’s crunch time: Valentines day is in 3 days, and if you’re like me you still haven’t gotten a gift for your loved one yet. And I know, I know, Valentines day shouldn’t be about gifts, but isn’t it fun to surprise your favorite person with something that you know they will love? I know that I love seeing Chris’s face whenever I give him an exciting surprise.

With that said, I know plenty of people are stumped on what to get their loved one. If you’re gifting for him, Chris helped me write a fantastic list of gift ideas for the guy in your life, but if you’re buying for a special lady, I’ve come up with a list of three gifts that I’m sure your girl would love! And as a bonus: They are all under $50!

Wondering what to get the special lady in your life? Check out this post featuring ideas that your girl is sure to love!

Dogeared Necklace.

Am I the only one obsessed with these? Whenever they are on Hautelook I fight with myself over buying one (I still haven’t!) But there are a ton of really sweet necklaces. Plus, jewelry is a classic Valentines Day gift! They carry heart shaped jewels, pearls, stones, and so much more.

What really makes them special is the cards they come on that deliver a sweet message on the meaning of the necklace – and there are necklaces for every occasion: Love, friendship, congratulations, the variety is endless. As far as romantic necklaces go, here is my favorite. Not quite ready for a big ‘I love you’ one? No problem! Try this one, it’s sweet, but not mushy!

A Journal.

So if you’ve been here for a while, you know I’m a huge journal/planner nerd. It’s actually a problem. And I’m a big cheese ball, too, so this ‘I love you because’ journal is right up my alley. It’s a fun journal that you can fill out with your loved one and bond over. Plus, you’ll be able to save it as a keepsake for years!

If that doesn’t appeal to you, along the same lines a photo book or a nicely bound, plain journal may make a better gift!

Chances are, you can’t go wrong with makeup. Unless you really know her, I’d be careful with this one though. But you should have no problem covering the bases. You can go for a nice brush set or cult classic palette like the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette.

Considering that Valentines Day is very much considered a romantic holiday, you could also focus on the lips if you’re hoping for a Valentines Day smooch. I’ve recently discovered Lip Therapy Rosy Lips by Vaseline and it is fantastic! The product does a fantastic job moisturizing and leaves you with soft, rose-tinted lips. The smell is lovely as well, a sweet combination of vanilla, berry, and rose. Want to spice it up a bit? They come in cute little pods you can stick in a box of candy like I’ve got pictured below! You can find these gems for $2.29 at mass retailers worldwide, or if you want a limited-edition jar adorned with fine European crystals and a heart on the lid you can find those at Kitson!

I hope I may have helped inspire you guys with some last minute shopping ideas. If you’re on top of things and have already bought your loved on a special something for Valentines Day, I would love to hear about what you picked out in the comments below! Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful Valentines day full of love!
