I noticed your blog from Pinterest from one post but I ended up reading all of your posts lol. I am 18 years old and I am going in to my freshman year at Catawba College. I always wanted to start a blog but I honestly didn’t have the time or really even know how to do it. I’m hoping after all this college rush of stress calms down then I can! I really admire your blog because it’s something I can relate to. Btw you’re helping me with my packing. Yayyy! I can’t wait to read more of your posts and YES, I definitely subscribed 🙂

Wow! Jazmin, you honestly made my entire day 🙂 I am so glad that you connect with my blog! If you do find time to make a blog and need any help setting it up or need advice, I would be so happy to answer any questions. Thank you for being so awesome and enjoy your freshman year!!!

  • Erin Barshinger

Hey my name is Erin and I randomly found your blog on Pinterest and love what you had to say! I just now read your bio and saw that you are doing speech pathology and ASL. I wanted to comment cause that’s exactly what I am looking at doing! I’m about to go into my first year of college at Maryville College. If you could write me back saying how you like it I would love that! 🙂

    • Hello Erin! I am so happy you found my blog 🙂

And I am in love with my major, I actually started my freshman year going into public policy and law, and within a week I knew I wanted to change to speech pathology.

Once you start your classes, I can almost guarantee that you will fall in love with it! It’s a tough major because it focuses on a lot of different areas – neuroscience, psychology, physiology, etc. but it is so rewarding! I learned a lot about kids who hadn’t talked since they were toddlers, and then when they started working with speech pathologists as teenagers they regained the ability to vocalize.

And sign language is amazing, too! It is so much easier to learn than any spoken language (trust me, I’ve tried!) and it’s really interesting. I have gotten the opportunity to teach little kids sign language and it is so much fun!

I could honestly gush about it for hours, so if you want to talk I would love that! We can continue the conversation here or you can email me 🙂 And if you ever have any questions about the major I can try my best to answer them!

Hi Morgan! My name is Sarah and I’ll be going into my sophomore year of college as well. I’m a Print Journalism & Computer Science double major, and I think it’s interesting how we’re both doing languages of some kind 😉 I found your packing list SO helpful, especially because I overpacked my wardrobe last year too. And the study tips were so great, I’ll be using a few myself this upcoming year!

    • Hello Sarah! That is so cool! This year I am trying out some Computer Science classes to see if I would want to try and do a double minor, how do you like your classes?

I am so glad that my list was able to help you! It is so easy to overpack and I’m really hoping I can exercise some self control this year, haha. Good luck on your sophomore year, we are in this together! 🙂

Hey there Morgan! My name is Caitlyn and I will be a sophomore in college this year at Pikes Peak Community College. I found your blog on Pinterest when I was searching for study tips and I was impressed with them and plan to use them this fall. I ended up browsing through your entire blog and thought that it was very helpful and I really enjoyed your personal to-do list because it showed me many things that I have wanted to do, but never did. I really like what you have to offer and definitely subscribed!!!

    • Aw, Caitlyn! I am so glad that my posts helped you! I am smiling so big right now!! Good luck at school this fall!! And the to-do lists are so fun to make, I really recommend writing one out even if you don’t publish it for anyone but yourself! It’s so nice to have all of your goals where you can see them 🙂

Hi Morgan. I have a random question. I do a good portion of my blogging from my phone and was wondering if you do too, or if you know someone that does, and if so what type of phone do you/they have? I want to get a new one because my camera quality isn’t the greatest.

Hello Morgan, my name is Sarah and I am a huge fan of your blog. I first found your blog when I was looking for advice about getting ready for college. I am not halfway through my first year of college, and your blog has been an inspiration to me. I have recently started my own blog, sparkswithsarah.wordpress.com and your blog has been a huge help. If you have the time, it would be great if you could check it out and give me some advice and feedback. Thank you so much, and I love your website!
