This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sally Beauty. All opinions are 100% mine. Not too long ago I had hair to my waist and I was obsessive about keeping it healthy. Fourteen inches later my hair is a lot less prone to damage, but I’m still very picky about the products I use to take care of it. I’ve logged hours researching hair care on YouTube, forums, and other blogs. I’m not a professional, but I’d consider my knowledge to be pretty darn close. While I am selective about what I put on my hair I’m also on a budget, so my go to has been Sally Beauty. Sally hair dared me to get my healthiest hair, and I’m doing the same to you! Whether you’re growing your hair out long, or just trying to keep it healthy – here are a few of my best tips! NOT ALL SHAMPOOS ARE CREATED EQUALLY. For a long time my chosen method when it came to shampoo shopping was to find the cheapest possible option. Yes, saving money is good. But at the expense of your hair? Not so much. Now my main prerogative is finding something that will put… View Post

I don’t know about you, but my skin is in some crazy limbo right now trying to adjust with the change in weather that comes along with fall. Living in Illinois, the fluctuation has been crazy: sunny and seventy five one day, dry and mid forties the next. This time of year always reeks havoc on my skin, but this year I am trying to combat that the best way I can. In a perfect world I would be able to steam, and exfoliate, and mask, and moisturize extensively each night; but personally I’m too busy for that and I suspect you are, too. But us busy girls gotta stick together, so I thought I would share some of my best, time saving fall skincare tips with you! Stay Hydrated. Alright, y’all. This one is the easiest and the benefits extend way further than just pretty skin. Staying hydrated is going to make you feel better, give you a ton of energy, and keep everything functioning as it should. I use the app ‘Plant Nanny’ to monitor my water intake – and it makes it impossible to get behind! Staying hydrated is going to help keep your skin moisturized from the inside… View Post

It’s June! My favorite month of the year – it’s my birthday month, the first month of summer, and the weather is absolutely beautiful! But after how incredible May was, I am almost sad to see it go. May brought a ton of happiness through coming home for the summer, spending time with my favorite babies, and catching up with everyone! In addition May brought me some some exciting news (that will be shared soon!) and I broke some blogging records, too! With all of my free time in the summer I thought that it would be a great idea to start up on my YouTube channel again because making videos is so much fun! My May Favorites Products Mentioned! Hautelook – This is my all time favorite place to go online shopping! Every day they feature new brands with products at a steep discount. I have gotten 30 dollar Steve Madden Boots, a ton of Urban Decay makeup for around 4o dollars and I have 6 books on the way that I got for around 30! Beauty Blender – I caved. I splurged. And I have no regrets. I am just so impressed with this! My makeup looks so much… View Post

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tom’s of Maine for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine. If you haven’t already noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a health kick lately. I have been doing a ton of research what I’m putting into my body, I’ve upped my water intake, and I’ve been working out (somewhat) consistently. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that while I’m doing a great job putting good into my body, I’ve been haphazardly slathering who knows what onto my body. In my recent health blog stalking, I read a lot about how skin is the largest organ and it can actually absorb ingredients from your lotion or makeup into the bloodstream. That is something I had never really considered, and it really had me thinking twice about my beauty regimen. I’ve made some simple changes like moisturizing with coconut oil, and removing my makeup as soon as I get home, but until recently that was about it. Even small switches can make a huge difference in my overall health, which is why I was thrilled to be able to test out Tom’s of Maine Long Lasting Natural Deodorant! When… View Post

This post brought to you by The North Face . The content and opinions expressed below are that of Mostly Morgan. Working out has always been such an important part of my life – I started running regularly when I joined my middle school cross country team, and from there I learned what an amazing stress reliever exercise is. Today I use my workouts as an escape and a time to clear my head from the stresses of college. As amazing as exercise is, nothing ruins my workout quicker than the wrong outfit. Hear me out – this isn’t about looking good at the gym, it’s about feeling good. And workout clothes that chafe, ride up, and cling will end my workout before it’s really even got started. I’ve suffered through that fate more times than I care to remember until I found brands with quality I could count on. I recently picked out a few pieces from the Mountain Athletics from The North Face, and I was absolutely blown away. When I work out I typically prefer to do so in just a sports bra, but my campus gym has a strict ‘no midriff’ policy, so I opted for the… View Post
