Let me brag for just a second: My skin is the best it’s been in months. I don’t have a single active breakout on my face (though I’ve got about a dozen marks from healing spots). This is coming after a 3 month period of lots of travel, little sleep, and more acne than I’ve had in my life. I’ve played around a lot with anti-acne products the past few months, and am thrilled by the results. My anti-acne skincare routine was a work in progress but I’ve finally narrowed down some of the best acne-clearing, radiance boosting products. My personal… View Post

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of GMO Answers for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine. Growing up, I was never overly adventurous with my fashion. I was known for sending group texts that went something along the line of, “SOS, what are you wearing?!?!” in order to be sure I wouldn’t be too overdressed or underdressed.   And on the day to day, my outfit was generally the same. I’ve seen a concerning trend with friends in real life and in the blogging world. It seems that everyone is on a diet but isn’t dieting ‘right.’ I understand that figuring out how to get fit is hard because most of us are stressed, we are busy, and ordering a pizza is so much easier that cooking. A lot of people are sticking to the resolutions they made to get fit in the New Year which is awesome, but so many people are going… View Post

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with BabbleBoxx. All opinions are my own. It’s that time of year again—all of my college posts have tripled in traffic and my inbox is full of questions from new college freshman who found my blog and are looking for guidance. While I’m past the college chapter of my life, I was looking back at my freshman year and asking myself how I’ve changed and what I know now that I didn’t know then. While I’m not a college blogger anymore, I want to share the ten things I wish I’d known my first… View Post

I’ve been traveling a lot lately. Since May I’ve gone to New York twice, Seattle once, I leave for Omaha on Friday and the week after I get back from Omaha I’m heading to Buenos Aires so I’m all about finding new ways I can save money while traveling. Full disclosure: New York and Omaha are business trips, so my major expenses (flight + boarding) are covered, but other expenses add up if you’re not careful!   I love to travel, but my wallet isn’t nearly as fond of my adventures. I got my first job at fifteen and have been… View Post
